University Recruiting
At the University level, Broadcom is connecting top
students with summer internships/Co-Ops and full-time
opportunities in a variety of specialties, including
Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Sales and
Marketing/Communications. While there is a strong
focus on hiring engineering majors (EE, CE, IS, CS,
Mathematics, Software Systems, Enterprise Software) at
the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. level, we also have a broad
spectrum of opportunities for MBAs and undergraduate
business students.
Broadcom has active internships/Co-Ops and full-time
opportunities at all of our United States and most of
our International locations. An internship/Co-Op
with Broadcom gives you the opportunity to acquire practical,
meaningful and relevant work experience, while exposing
you to the culture of a global leader in wired and wireless
broadband communications semiconductors.
If you are a student or graduate of
UCLA,
UC Irvine,
Stanford or
MIT, we invite you
to visit the college recruiting microsite for your
university to get specific information about current
opportunities and Broadcom's connection to these top
rated schools.
The Broadcom success story began in a university
setting. Our co-founder and Chief Technical Officer,
Henry Samueli, served as a faculty member and professor
at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr.
Samueli was essentially the company's first university
recruiter, and many of the engineers who helped create
Broadcom came from his university-based research group.
Broadcom maintains close research relationships with
universities throughout the United States and funds
research projects with faculty and graduate
students.
