Key Themes

MoCA - New HD satellite and cable STB solutions with integrated MoCA 1.1 technology enable service providers to deploy a whole-home connected entertainment environment with multi-room DVR, while reducing cost and power requirements. With support for DLNA, these new STB solutions facilitate the easy sharing of digital content between DLNA-enabled devices and support for the RVU Alliance's pixel accurate RUI technology enables an identical user experience on multiple devices.

Integration - Broadcom's BCM7025 and BCM7019 HD cable STB solutions feature extremely high levels of integration including a dual 866MHz cable tuner and Euro/DOCSIS 2.0 compatible modem with 3.0 channel bonding over 4 downstream channels. This level of integration and performance enables worldwide service providers to offer the latest in HDTV programming, connectivity and advanced user interfaces to their subscribers while meeting stringent global power consumption and system performance requirements.

Partnerships - Key collaborations with Microsoft, SoftAtHome and S&T exemplify Broadcom's continued commitment to deliver advanced TV services in Europe driving the connected and interactive home entertainment experience.
