Ethernet/MoCA 2.0 Bridge
The BCM6802 is a bonded-channels MoCA 2.0 integrated chip solution with on-chip Gigabit Ethernet PHY. It features a fully integrated MoCA 2.0 subsystem with dual PHY, MAC, and network interface. Bonded MoCA 2.0 channel offers 800/1000 Mbps in multinode/point-to-point network. The BCM6802 is designed for ONT/BHR system solutions.
It can function as:
-Standalone Ethernet-MoCA bridge
-Gigabit Ethernet PHY connected to gateway/switch chip via RGMII interface
-MoCA 2.0 PHY connected to gateway chip over RGMII interface
-Two independent PHYs (MoCA and Gigabit Ethernet) connected to gateway chip over two independent RGMII interfaces
