Broadcom recently acquired AMD's DTV business to scale its DTV operation, and, with its existing products, offer a complete product line that covers all DTV market segments. Initial solutions includes a complete AVC-connected TV platform; a customizable turnkey platform to differentiate DTV products; and an upgrade from Internet-based, online and SD video to HD for large screen TV viewing.
