Champion™ Volume Dual-Processor SystemI/O Platform
Champion™ HE-SL SystemI/O core logic technology supports up to two 100MHz or 133MHz Intel® Pentium™ III Xeon™ processors and manages the flow of data to and from the system's processors, memory and peripheral input/output (I/O) devices. The HE-SL integrates functions of Dual Channel PC-100/PC-133 Memory Controller, Inter Module Bus (IMB) I/O interface unit and 32-bit/33MHz PCI interface to connect to the South Bridge. The HE-SL is capable of supporting up to 6GB of main memory at speeds up to 2.1 GB/s of memory bandwidth. Reliability Availability and Serviceability (RAS) features include: memory scrubbing and ECC support. The HE-SL's IMB channel supports up to 1GB/s of I/O bandwidth and allows for two 64-bit/66MHz PCI busses.
