Metro-Ethernet Solution
The MetroBox™ is a complete reference design with 24 GbE ports and two 10-GbE ports based on two FE-1000s and one TME-2000. It supports features for L2 and L3 switching and routing with IPv4 and IPv6 unicast and multicast, complete VLAN and VLAN stacking support, as well as MPLS/VPLS, L3 BGP VPNs, including pseudowires. In addition, it offers hierarchical QoS for per-subscriber management which is critical for enabling and managing next-generation services, such as Triple Play (voice, video, and data ).
