Broadcom's Wi-Fi video phone chipset for portable wireless handsets and desktop video IP phones leverages several market-leading Broadcom technologies including VoIP, mobile multimedia and wireless LAN (WLAN). The revolutionary video IP phone chipset includes the BCM1161 mobile VoIP processor; the BCM4318E AirForce One™ Single-Chip 802.11b/g WLAN solution; and the BCM2702 VideoCore® multimedia processor.
The chipset also includes a reference design and Broadcom's xChange™ VoIP software suite, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) call signaling stack, WLAN OneDriver™ and a board support package, including drivers and software development tools. This chipset is the world's first integrated Wi-Fi video phone solution and offers high-quality video and voice at a price that enables consumer video phone products.
