Mark Terrano is Vice President and General Manager of Intellectual Property and Licensing. In this role, he is responsible for Broadcom's IP licensing programs and offensive and defensive IP litigations, as well as co-leading Broadcom’s IP and Licensing Division. Mr. Terrano has more than 22 years of experience in the protection, licensing, and litigation of intellectual property in various technology areas. Mr. Terrano joined the company through the LSI acquisition, having served as Senior Director and Managing IP Counsel of the IP licensing and litigation team. He joined LSI through its merger with Agere Systems in 2007. Before joining Agere in 2006, he was a Senior IP Counsel at Ericsson primarily responsible for managing the Ericsson IP litigation in North America. Prior to that, Mr. Terrano was an attorney in the IP and litigation groups at the law firm of Fenwick & West in the Bay Area. He was an electrical engineer at MCI Communications prior to attending law school. Mr. Terrano holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center at the University of New Hampshire.Back To Executives
