The BCM63138 high-performance multimedia gateway SoC integrates G.fast to deliver multistream IPTV, voice, data and home networking.
Broadcom's BCM63138 is a high-performance device with G.fast for home gateways, designed to complement Broadcom’s BCM65200/900 central office (CO) family of Systems on a Chip (SoCs). By integrating G.fast capabilities, the BCM63138 gateway SoC to allows telcos to deliver Gigabit-class services to subscribers. The new G.fast digital subscriber line (DSL) standard, capable of supporting data rates in excess of 1Gb/s with 106 MHz spectrum, augments Broadcom's telecom access portfolio to ensure carriers can deliver the fastest, most flexible and highest-quality services to meet growing bandwidth and service needs.
