39-bit Multi-turn Absolute Encoder with Battery Backup and BiSS-C Mode Output

The AS37-H39B-Bxxx is a multi-turn absolute encoder series with 39-bit resolution (23-bit single-turn and 16-bit multi-turn). The 16-bit multi-turn encoder has a battery backup sufficient to power the revolution tracking circuitry in the event of an external power loss. The AS37-H39B-Bxxx is a housed encoder consisting of a patterned disk, a light source, and photosensitive elements that translate mechanical motion to electrical signal. The -Bxxx series come with preloaded BiSS-C communication protocol supported by a full duplex line transmission drive (RS-485), offering good noise immunity to enable a robust data transmission up to 10 Mb/s in harsh industrial environments.
