ACPL-K34T is an 2.5A Automotive R2Coupler Gate Drive Optocoupler, which contains an AlGaAs LED coupled optically to an integrated circuit with a power output stage.  It is ideally designed for driving power MOSFETs used in AC-DC and DC-DC converters, featuring fast propagation delays and tight timing skew.  The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the drive voltages required by gate controlled devices. The voltage and high peak output current supplied by this optocoupler make it ideally suited for direct driving power MOSFETs at high frequency for high efficiency conversion.
