2.0 Amp Output Current IGBT Gate Drive Optocoupler

The HCNW3120 gate drive optocoupler contains an AlGaAs LED. The LED is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. It is ideally suited for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs used in motor controll inverted applications. The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the drive voltages required by gate controlled devices. The voltage and current supplied make it ideally suited for directly driving IGBTs with ratings up to 1200 V/100 A. It has the highest insulation voltage of VIORM = 1414 V peak in the VDE 0884.
