Avago Technologies AVT-54689/AVT-55689 are high linearity and low current consumption broadband gain blocks or driver amplifier MMIC operating from DC to 6000MHz. The broadband gain feature is great for broadband applications such as CATV, Satellite TV or MOCA set top box, as well as for various bands of cellular infrastructure that may look to use the same driver amplifier/gain block for different frequencies.
AVT-54689/AVT-55689 are internally matched to 50 Ω, and they require only DC blocking capacitors, RF choke, and bypass capacitors for operation. AVT-54689/AVT-55689 are housed in the industry standard SOT-89 package, thus offering the convenience of drop in replacement.
At the typical operating condition of 5V and 64mA, AVT-54689 delivers an excellent performance of 17.0dB Gain, 30.0dBm OIP3 (Output Third Order Intercept Point), 17.5dBm P1dB (Output Power at 1dB Gain Compression) and 4.5dB Noise Figure at 2000MHz.
At the typical operating condition of 5V and 82mA, AVT-55689 delivers an excellent performance of 16.5dB Gain, 33.0dBm OIP3 (Output Third Order Intercept Point), 19.5dBm P1dB (Output Power at 1dB Gain Compression) and 4.5dB Noise Figure at 2000MHz.
