Second-Generation GNSS Location Hub with Galileo Support

Location Hub chip integrates a GNSS receiver with a second-generation sensor hub function in a single chip.
It simultaneously supports Galileo, GPS, GLONASS, SBAS, QZSS and BeiDou satellite systems.

The unique architecture of the Location Hub and extra memory compared to BCM4773 (first generation) extends the battery life of the mobile device. The BCM4774 offloads the data calculations from the system applications processor (AP), enabling the AP to sleep for longer periods of time. Compared to the previous generation, the BCM4774 further improves the on-chip location accuracy. This enables a very efficient and accurate low-power background location.
